Pensacola Beach Maternity Session
There are some sessions that just feel easy from the very beginning—and Stephanie and Matt’s maternity session was exactly that.
We met on the east side of Pensacola Beach on a beautiful Tuesday evening in April, with the kind of weather photographers dream about. Stephanie was 34 weeks pregnant, absolutely glowing, and the excitement of welcoming their baby boy was written all over both of them.
From the moment we started, everything just fell into place. The light was stunning—bright and full at first, giving us those clean, sunlit images that feel so fresh and timeless. As the evening went on, we transitioned into the softer tones of golden hour, and eventually a breathtaking sunset that wrapped their entire session in the most beautiful glow.
Stephanie looked incredible, and Matt was right there with her every step of the way—supportive, relaxed, and clearly so proud of the family they’re about to welcome. It’s always special to photograph couples during this season of life, but there was something especially genuine and calm about these two.
We were able to capture such a great variety during their session—from bright, joyful moments in full sun to those soft, intimate images as the sun dipped lower over the water. That mix is one of the reasons I love shooting on Pensacola Beach so much—you truly get the best of both worlds in one evening.
Stephanie and Matt, thank you for trusting me to capture this incredible milestone for you. It was such a pleasure spending the evening with you both, and I cannot wait for you to meet your sweet baby boy.
