The Johnson Family | Milton Family Photographer



I was lucky enough to photograph the Johnson family while their children and grandchildren were visiting from out of town. Family sessions like this are always special because they bring everyone together in one place and preserve memories that become even more meaningful as the years pass.


I felt especially fortunate to learn that the Johnsons were fellow Milton residents and wanted to keep their session close to home. I love traveling to our beautiful beaches, but there is something incredibly special about photographing a local family right here in the community we share.


Milton has several wonderful locations for photography, and I made sure to tell the Johnson family about all of them. There was just one small challenge—Robin had recently broken her foot and sprained her ankle, so we needed to choose a location that would not require much walking.


We decided to stay near the Riverfront area, and I was thrilled with how beautiful their photographs turned out. The Johnsons were such a fun family, and we shared plenty of laughter throughout the session. Although I would have loved to take them to the Blackwater Heritage Trail for a little more variety in the backgrounds, I think we captured some wonderful memories.


Most of all, I hope Robin and her family enjoy these photographs and the memories behind them for many years to come.
