You know how life just has a way of throwing the best moments at you when you least expect it? That’s exactly how my recent photoshoot went with Cade. This kid is a senior, and while that’s a milestone all on its own, he’s also got this incredible dream of becoming a pro pitcher. Talk about serious goals! It’s always inspiring to see someone so dedicated to something they love, and for Cade, that passion is all about baseball.


We headed straight to Milton High School, a place steeped in memories for him, and it was the perfect backdrop for our shoot. The energy was electric as he threw those pitches, with the sun shining just right, catching that perfect glow. You know those moments when everything comes together? That was us. Cade's face lit up every time he connected with the ball, and I could feel the excitement; it was palpable. I loved capturing those candid shots of him in his element, whether he was focused on the game or sharing a laugh with his girlfriend.


It’s these moments that remind me of the importance of family and support systems. Pursuing dreams can sometimes feel overwhelming, but having people cheering you on makes all the difference. Watching Cade with his family, sharing the same enthusiasm and pride, brought a warmth to the whole session. Those interactions—laughter, encouragement, and even a few playful jabs—always make for the best photographs. It’s those little interactions that tell a bigger story, showcasing not just the individual but the support behind them.

This is Cade's number and one that has stuck with him for a long time. It has a beautiful meaning to this family who loves a good game of baseball.


So, here’s to capturing not just a kid chasing his dreams, but also the amazing family that stands behind him. Moments like these, filled with dreams, laughter, and love, are what make photography so special. It’s all about freezing those fun family times into memories that last a lifetime, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Cade, both on and off the field!

Graduation happens on May 22, 2025. Highschool is done, and all the memories of sports, endless days of traveling, teachers, girlfriends and fun are wrapped up and put aside for a new chapter in life. I wish him all the luck in the world on his next big adventure.
